My condolences to Merv's family. He was a good guy and active in the community. I liked working with him at the nursing home.

Hugs thoughts and prayers to Merv's family and friends...
For many years Merv was a great friend at the track... just the other day I pulled out a picture of the winning photo of Spring Harvester... that he and I were in....
All around great guy and will be missed!!!!

Seeing the obituary for Merv brought back many memories of my younger days in Dresden. The "horse racing" gang would hang out at the "Whitson Family" home on Lindsley Steet for many discussions and perhaps some refreshment! This would include my uncles, my Dad, the Brown's .... and perhaps others I may have left out, for which I apologize. They were kindred spirits! I do recall Merv always being kind and helpful to others. As a teen at the time, these thoughts mean a lot.
Thanks for the memories and my sincere sympathy to the Booth family.
(John .... I remember the days of Bus #6 taking us to our places of education!)
