I am sad to hear of Murray's passing. My mother and Margaret were 1st cousins and I remember as a child many trips to see the Chatham cousins. Murray squirting milk in my face when milking. Playing in the hay at the top of the barn. Some very good memories of the farm.
I stopped into the house a couple of years ago and Murray had just come in from working one of the fields. I asked to check out the banister to the 2nd floor - still amazing that we'd slide down it and didn't fall off.
Your mother was a wonderful woman full of love and life. Your Dad was also the same and they made an incredible couple.

To all the Wilcox family,
Please accept our deepest sympathies in the loss of your dad. He was a great guy - he always reminded me that he was Murray #1 at Darrell ball diamond , with Murray Cummings as #2 and finally my husband Murray # 3. He was a great friend of my Dad, Leigh Blonde and I know he will be playing cards with him in heaven. You will have so many great memories of him. He will always be in your hearts and mine too.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the Wilcox families in the passing of your special father and grandfather, Murray. I have many fond memories of growing up as neighbours on the 4th Conc. In later years, he always remembered me whenever I saw him and he would always have something funny to say about being long ago neighbours. May he rest in peace,

Our condolences to the entire Wilcox family.
I had the pleasure of being Murray and Margarets neighbour for most of my life.
If an example of a true farmer was ever needed a picture of Murray would do the job.
My best memories are of Murray and my father and uncles working as a team to fill silo, treat cattle and harvest beets and the large tables we all ate at..
Murray was a great man who worked hard and had a long and prosperous life.
Rest in peace Grumpy.

We were saddened to read of Uncle Murray's passing. What an amazing life he lived! Whatever the age, it is still hard to lose your parents. Unfortunately, we are unable to attend the celebration of his life as we are still in the south. Please know that we will be sending our love and uplifting your family in prayer during this sad time. He will certainly be missed.

With sincere sympathy to the Wilcox clan. Uncle Murray was always a pleasure to be around. Always enjoyed the banter between us. In my teenage years it was always a joy helping him on the farm. Aunt Margaret and Uncle Murray always showed kindness and welcomed everyone into their home. Their Sunday night card games were legendary. Jeanne and I will always have warm thoughts of him.
Rest in peace Uncle Murray.

Although I am very sad to hear of Grumpie’s passing,I am excited that he is now with Margaret.
It was easy to grow fond of Murray and his teasing over the many years we have been friends.
I will always think back to our trip over the farm in the hot air balloon and the smile that that day brought to his face.
It was my pleasure to be your friend Murray!
Love to All
Becky

Murray was my beloved Uncle and "like a Father to me." Words cannot express the deep sorrow I feel at his passing. He is with Margaret now and probably playing cards with all our other relatives who were waiting for him. Murray was a quiet man who loved to tease my wife, MarySue and she loved to tease him back. He loved his family, and will be missed by all. God Bless you Murray!
