Obituary of Pieter Poppe

Poppe: The Lord took Pieter, to his eternal home. Pieter, a resident of Wallaceburg, formerly of Dresden passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Wallaceburg at the age of 95. Born in Holland, son of the late Cornelius and Maria (Dewitte) Poppe. Beloved husband of Johanna (Lorier) Poppe. Loving father of Kees (Audrey), Lenore (Klaus Hintz), Mary and Evelyn. Cherished grandpa of Monika, Andre, Preston (Anita) and Nolan (Rebecca). Predeceased by 4 sisters, 3 brothers and recently by great grandson Samuel Preston Poppe. The Poppe family will receive friends at Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Wednesday from 2-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Dresden Christian Reformed Church on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
