Obituary of John Robert Majek

Majek: John R. a resident of R.R. 4 Chatham passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the age of 74. Born in Harwich Township, son of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Cerny) Majek. John farmed all his life in Harwich Township with his brother Francis "Frank". He is survived by a niece and many neighbours and friends. Predeceased by a sister Mary Kormendy (2010), a brother Francis (2013) and a nephew.  Family and  friends will be received at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be held at 6:45 p.m. Friday. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Thamesville on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Chatham.
