My sincerest condolences to the Mitton family. Mr. Mitton was a gentleman and a very Godly man. From the day I met Mr. Mitton, he always remembered me by my first name. Mr. Mitton was also very concerned for my wife and kept her in his prayers as well when she had cancer. Heaven is rejoicing!

To the family of Lloyd Mitton:
My sincere condolences as you celebrate the life of a wonderful man. . . same age as Billy Graham!
Over the years, my encounters with your husband, father, grandfather, uncle, have always been full of grace. He was a true gentleman and to me, he exemplified the fruit of God's Spirit-- love, joy, peace, gentleness. He touched many lives with his presence and God alone knows how many lives were blessed through his work with the Gideons. He will be missed.
At the visitation, my mind was saying, "He is not here. . . for on this Easter weekend, we know that he is risen with Christ."
Prayerfully, P. Marg

Sorry to hear of Lloyd's death, and I never did get in, for him to go over the school pictures. Since having my hip done the middle of Aug, it has not been a good year for me, and with all the snow, hard to get around with a cane. Condolences to all of Lloyd's family and extended family as well.

Imagine Lloyd and Grandpa Morgan working some Gideon’s event, and Lloyd and Dad sharing notes on their stamp collections. Lloyd was, and remains, a true font of many blessings for so many of us.

Lloyd has a special place in our hearts as a step-grandpa to Joy and great-grandpa to Elijah &a Noah. He and grandma Aileen have been so supportive of us in our journey in missions. Always great to hear his stories of his trips to Brazil and Costa Rica with the Gideon's. He was Spirit-filled and a real treasure. Much love to grandma!

We are very sorry to hear of Lloyd's passing. He was our insurance man for many years and he spent many a time in our home not just working on insurance but had a great time visiting as well. He worked with my father as well in the insurance business.
He was a very fine man and a true Christian.
He is going to be missed
