Bothwell Legion or the Canadian Cancer Society Andrews: Hazel (Hill) ,a resident of Moraviantown, passed away at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at the age of 88. Born in Orford Twp., daughter of the late Daniel C. and Edna (Dolson) Hill. Hazel was a Sergeant Major in the Canadian Women’s Army Corp and was a veteran of W.W. II, and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. # 252 Bothwell. Beloved wife of Dave Thompson. Loving mother of Sandy Parkins (Fred) of Liverpool, England, and Geordie Andrews (Christine) of Thessalon ON. Loving grandma of Jonathan (Amy), Christopher (Meaghan) and Amanda. Dear sister of Gordon Hill of Toronto. Predeceased by brothers Jasper and Gerald Hill. Family and friends were received at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, July 4, 2011 at 1:00pm with Rev. Pierce Russell officiating. Interment Moraviantown Cemetery. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Bothwell Legion or the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences and donations may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com .
