Obituary of Edward Rae Ellis

ELLIS: A resident of Ridgetown, Edward Rae Ellis, passed away peacefully with his family at his side at Parkwood Hospital, London on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the age of 54. Born in Chatham, youngest son of the late Gordon Ellis and the late Florence (Summerfield) Baetz. Chosen son of the late George & Judith D. (Watts) Cowan of Ridgetown. Dear father of Tanner Ellis of Ridgetown, Loving brother of Myles Ellis (late Beverly) of Thamesville, John Ellis (Bonita) of Wallaceburg, Wayne Ellis (Audrey) of London, Brenda Vink (Tom) of Thamesville. Chosen brother of Laura Knight (Rob) and Ann Segeren (Jim) of Komoka. Predeceased by brothers Donald Ellis (1965) and Gerald Ellis (2013). Missed by many nieces and nephews. The Ellis family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria Street, Thamesville on Tuesday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Lukings officiating. Interment at Blacks Cemetery, Wallacetown at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Friends of the New Animal Shelter would be appreciated by the family.
