Obituary of Ronald James Bilton
Bilton: Ronald a resident of Florence, Ronald Bilton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury at the age of 78. Born in Euphemia Township, son of the late Jack & Glenna Bilton. Loving husband of 54 years to Colleen Bilton (Kelly). Dear father of Kelly & Scott Butler, Shawn Bilton. Grandfather to Justin and Jordyn Butler. Dear brother of Audrey Gryp (the late John Fauser, the late Glen Gryp), Brenda Ellis (Don), and the late Sandra Price (Tom). Brother-in-law to Kathleen Lochner (the late Howard), Marguerite Anderson (the late Frank), Willard Kelly (the late Mary), the late Juanita & Mac Thompson. Forever missed by many nieces and nephews. Ron was a member of the Classic Car Unit- London Shrine Club, the Kent Historical Car Club, the Tecumseh Sydenham Lodge No. 245 A.F. & A.M., the Scottish Right, and the Twin Creek Gun Club. Ron retired from Imperial Oil after 27 years of service. During his retirement he volunteered at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Cremation has taken place. A Masonic Lodge service will take place on Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria Street, Thamesville followed by Memorial Visitation from 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew's Anglican Church, 822 Florence Road, Florence with Rev. John Maroney officiating. Interment to follow at St. Matthew's Cemetery.
