Obituary of Harold Labadie

Beloved husband of Ann (Babin) Labadie. He is predeceased by his mother Violet, father Roy and step-father Alvin Foster. Loving father of Elaine Marentette (Ray), Harold Labadie Jr. (Cathy), Darcy Labadie (Luanne), Penny Vitek and Pam Labadie (Jody). Cherished grandfather of Stephen, Eric, Carolyn, Nick, Terri, Chasity, Shae-Lynn and Makayla. Proud great grandfather of Mya, Corinne and Caleb. Loving brother to Viola Landon (Ron) and Penny Daniels (Tim) and Ron Labadie. He is predeceased by sisters Nettie Smith and Ruby Solski. Harold was a member and past president of the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 113. He proudly served with the Royal Canadian Airforce during World War II. Harold enjoyed hunting, golfing and fishing. He was strong of spirit and his many nieces and nephews will miss his laughter and humour. Thanks to Dr. Miller and staff at Chatham Kent Health Alliance for their kindness, professional care and compassion. Friends will be received at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North Street, Dresden on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Church 698 Tecumseh St., Dresden.
