Obituary of Ray Joseph Balasin

Balasin: Ray passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Chatham-Kent Hospice. Born 75 years ago on February 17, 1942, son of the late Ray (1965) & Myrtle (1957) Balasin. Cherished and loving spouse of 24 years to Donna Browe. Loving father of the late Robert "Bob" Balasin (2008) and his wife Deb, the late Andrew "Andy" Balasin (1993), Rick Balasin (Linda), Rose Strom (Todd), Shelley Jardine (Rob), and Sheila Balasin. Grandpa to Jennifer, Shaun, Amanda, Jessie, Jamie, Michelle, Robert, Dawn, Trevor, Steven, great-grandpa to Damian, Jaime, Keenyn, Kitera, Kendra, Mason, Karli, Ethan, Mackenzie, Kayden, Helena, Jensen, Madison, Jackson, and great-great-grandpa to Talia. Ray was the last surviving sibling in the Balasin-Dewael family. Predeceased by his siblings Louise (Herman), Laura (Garnet), Tina (George), John (Helen), Erma (Harold), Cass (Marvin), Mary (Bob), Sonny (Helen), Herman, Andy, and Larry. Forever missed by his in-laws, Bob & Doreen Browe, sister-in-laws Ann Charbonneau, Eunice Segee, and Muriel Blake. Brother-in-law to Rob & Stacey Browe, and Joe & Darlene Normandin. Remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm Street, Bothwell on Monday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place in the chapel of the Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev.
