Obituary of Robert Earl Hart

Hart: Robert E. "Bob", a resident of Dresden, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the age of 71. Son of the late Glenn and Dorothy (Barr) Hart. Bob owned and operated Bob's Produce for many years, and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legions in Thamesville and Dresden. Bob coached Thamesville Minor Baseball, Thamesville Colts Slo-pitch Team and had played Bothwell Slo-Boys Hockey. He loved to play euchre and darts and greeted everyone with "Hey Smiley". Beloved husband of the late Betty (Winter) Hart (1988). Loving father of Rob Hart (Hope) of Dresden. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Zach and Zoe Hart. Dear brother of Ruth Branton (late Jack), Brenda Myers (Jim), Earl Hart and Sandra Hart. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Bill Hart and sister-in-law Betty Hart. The Hart family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home and Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Cremation has taken place. Interment in Mayhew-Mt.Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville at a later date. if desired donations to Dresden Minor Baseball, Dresden Minor Hockey or the Dresden Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated.
