Obituary of Kathleen Evelyn Mater

Mater: Kathleen Evelyn (Mater), formerly of Oakdale, passed away peacefully at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 in her 97th year. Kathleen will be reunited with her late husband Llewellyn, who passed away March 25, 2003. She will be greatly missed and loved by her children Robert (friend Lillian), Helen Williams (Ernie), and Mona Begg. Loving grandmother to Michelle Bidner (Todd), Rodney Mater (Tammy), Kevin Dobbyn (Amy), Bernadine Libreiro (Joe), Jason Mater (Pam), Cynthia Britton (Sean), Aaron Mater (Tina). Cherished great grandmother to Dylan Carter, Colton Bidner, Josh, Thomas, Maggie, Jonathan, Matthew, and Levi Mater, Alexa and Aidan Dobbyn, Liam Britton, Tony, Emma, and Jesse Libreiro and Shelby Mater. Predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and George Hale. The Mater family will receive friends and family at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. followed by the service at 1:00 p.m. Donations in Kathleen's memory can be made to the C.E.E.
