Obituary of Alan Lyle McFadden

Alan Lyle McFadden, aged 67, was called to his heavenly Home in the early hours of January 6, 2017. He passed away peacefully in his sleep with family by his side. Al leaves behind his loving wife of 46 years, Deborah (Breaton), children Jesstina and Ryan, Caleb, Luke and Kim and his beloved granddaughter, Evelia. He is predeceased by his parents Lyle and Edna, father and mother in-law Clarence and Audrey and brother-in-law Bradley. Al cared deeply about his family, his work and his friends. He was a skilled carpenter by trade but above all he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with family and getting together with friends. Al faced the adversities of his illness in the same way he approached life - with humour, dignity and grace. Friends and family will be received at Badder Funeral Home and Reception Centre on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The service will be in the chapel on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with reception to follow. A private burial will occur at Dresden Cemetery with immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Canadian Cancer Society (Cancer Research) or the Lung Association. Al was a wonderful husband, father and friend and will be greatly missed.
