McDonald: Lyle R., formerly of R.R.#1 Thamesville, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Monday, November 28, 2016 at the age of 86. Born in Camden-Gore Twp., son of the late James and Olive (Smith) McDonald. Lyle was a member of the Thamesville United Church. Beloved husband of the late Ruth McDonald (Sales) (2013). Loving father of Dave McDonald (Jeanne), Carl McDonald (Cheryl), Jeanette Corbin (Ray), Jim McDonald (Karen). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Wesley, William, Emily, Brad, Kristi, Cole, Randel, Olivia, Adam, and Owen. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Doreen and Max McFadden, Allan and Hazel McDonald, Dr. Jack Sales. Predeceased by a brother-in-law Russell McGugan, and sister's-in-law Grace McGugan and Helene Sale. The McDonald family will receive family and friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Saturday, December 3, 2016 (afternoon only) from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 1:30 PM with Rev. Grace Lee of the Thamesville United Church officiating.
