Obituary of William Christner

Christner: William "Bill", a resident of Thamesville, passed away suddenly at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Monday, October 10, 2016 at the age of 78. Born in Leamington, son of Sherman Christner and Gladys Pridding. Bill worked at International and Waycon in Chatham, he loved umpiring baseball and playing Slo -Boys Hockey. Beloved husband of Carol (Wardell) Christner. Bill is survived by a daughter Pam; a son Tom; grandchildren Tim and Tiffany; half sister Linda Erickson (Lyle) and several nieces and nephews. The Christner family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Thursday from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Interment Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville.
