Cross: Douglas John a resident of RR 2 Bothwell passed away Monday, July 11, 2016 at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury at the age of 89. Born in Euphemia Township, son of the late John and Florence (Rush) Cross. Beloved husband of Mary (Jamieson) Cross. Loving dad of Gwendolyn Lumley (Carl) of Watford, Ian Cross (Predeceased in 2000), Heather Saari (Bernie) of North Bay, Tracey Childs (Francis) of Dresden and Sandra Pappas (Brian) of Victoria, B.C. Proud grandpa of Jeanette, John, Malcolm, Jamie (Predeceased in 1997), Jessica, Cord, Ninnea, his great grandchildren and grandpets. Dear brother of Ross Cross (Mary). Predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law Murray & Grace Cross. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The Cross family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Bothwell Cemetery.
