Obituary of Ellen Lillian Jacques

Jacques: Ellen a resident of Chatham passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Riverview Gardens, Chatham at the age of 85. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late George and Rose (Macey) Goddard. Beloved wife of Louis Jacques. Loving mother of Diane Miller (Brian), Cherie O'Rourke (Rick), Carol Bechard (Roland), LouAnn Girard, Brian Jacques, George Jacques (Fran), Brad Jacques (Kim) and Tracy Moore. Sadly missed by 17 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Predeceased by sisters Gladys Barks, Betty Kelley, Ruby Kalp, Frances Jenkins; brothers Jack Goddard, George Goddard, Harry Goddard; 4 grandchildren and son-in-law Bob Girard. The Jacques family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. In lieu of flowers, donations to C-K Hospice, Ronald McDonald House or Vets Canada would be appreciated by the family.
