Obituary of Thomas James Griffith

Thomas James Griffith of Florence passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at his home. Born in Chatham, son of the late Wesley "Jim" and Lillian (Weaver) Griffith. Beloved husband of Annette (Yacks) Griffith. Dear brother of Daniel Griffin (Debbie). Dear brother-in-law of Greg Yacks (Diahn) and Sheila Hamilton (Bill). Sadly missed by nieces and nephews Jessica and Brandon Yacks, Lindsay and Dakota Hamilton, Derek Benoit, Kristyn Alves, Brandelle and Daniel Griffin Jr. Fondly remembered by his father-in-law Allen Yacks. Predeceased by mother-in-law Marilyn Yacks. The Griffith family will receive family and friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Monday, June 13 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Linda McFadden officiating. Interment in Dresden Cemetery. Donations to the CKHA Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
