Tinney: Robert "Bob", formerly of Shetland, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Monday, September 28, 2015 at the age of 85. He was born in Zone Twp., son of the late Cecil and Agnes (Dobbyn) Tinney. Bob farmed in Shetland for many years and was a heavy equipment operator. He was member of the Antique Tractor Club, Faith Trinity United Church, Shetland and a strong community supporter. Bob is survived by four sisters and a brother, Dorothy Macaulay of Alvinston, Mary McLean (John) of Lambeth, Norine Wolfe of Ottawa, Ross Tinney (Pat) of Port Dover and Edith Towsley of Chatham. He is fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. The Tinney family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Tuesday evening from 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 2:00pm with Mrs. Jessie Dobbyn officiating. Interment Shetland Cemetery.
