I was saddened to hear of Glen's passing. I worked with Glen for many, many years at Naahii Ridge and found him to be a very valued member of the staff. We had many meaningful conversations and I learned much from him. He was a wonderful language teacher and shared his knowledge with all of us. He was a great man and will be missed!

I am so sorry for your loss Karen. I wish I could have been there, but know that my thoughts and spirit has been with you and your family. Glen was so dedicated to our language and the children. He taught himself and spent time with the elders to make sure he got the language right. He lived the life of our ancestors and was always listening and learning. He was such a great teacher for the little ones. We have lost such a kind spirit but his legacy is an inspiration to all of us.

I am so sad knowing that I won't see Glen again at the Stockbridge-Munsee Nation for Language Camp ..... I met him last summer and he was delightful, thoughtful, and always made us feel better, leaving us with a smile in our hearts and face. Glen, THANKS for all you gave to all of us --

All language teachers are a treasure to behold. They give so much of themselves so our thoughts beliefs encoded in our languages remain strong. Glen was one of those sentinels. He will be sorrily missed. The Lenaape language in his care, is being extended far into the future through the children he taught. Semaa Glen.

You will be sadly missed. Such a great man with your sense of humour and wonderful spirit. You were an important part of my 3 kids lives at school. You taught them something new everyday that they will never forget. Thru the 35 years I have known you you have always made me smile. Although your life was cut short it will never be forgotten.
