Deacon, Gary formerly of Tupperville and Mitchell’s Bay passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014 at the age of 79 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Born in Wallaceburg, son of the late Harry and Lela (Card) Deacon. Beloved husband of 59 years to Shirley (McLean-French) Deacon. Loving father of Todd Deacon (Lori), Tracy Marino (Brad) and Michele Deacon. Proud papa of Lee Deacon, Michael, Alexis and Gregory Marino, Chelsey (Paul), Josh and Jade Daley. Cherished great papa of Micah, Layla and Cole. Dear brother of Ruth Anne & Rex Crawford. Sadly missed by sister-in-law Paulette Parkes. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister and brother-in-law Nancy & Jim Marshall; brother-in-law Mike Parkes and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Dorothy & Joe Klinec. Friends will be received at the Zion United Church, Tupperville on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from 10 am until the time of the memorial service at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Zion United Church would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, Dresden.
