Maynard: Joan M. (Harris), formerly of Thamesville, passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Monday, January 12, 2015 at the age of 94. Joan was a member of the Thamesville United Church and the U.C.W. She was an avid gardener. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Maynard. Loving mother of Ken and Marg Maynard, Doug and Deb Maynard and Glenn "Scrapper" Lund. Proud grandmother of Chris (Kevin), Shawn (Jen), Melissa (Dave) and Brandy Maynard. Cherished great grandmother of Kate, Jane, Emily, Owen and Shelby. Dear sister of Bessie Maynard. Predeceased by several brothers and sisters. The Maynard family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 noon. Interment in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville.
