Phair: Dorothy, died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, December 25, 2014 at the age of 87. Loving mother of Susan (Dennis) of Chatham, Laurie (David) of Chatham. Proud and beloved grandmother of Andrea, Megan (Andrew), Joseph (Nicole), Evan and Jamie (Tina) . Great grandmother of Nathan, Taylor, Ayden, Briahnna, Novalee and Baby Puksa. Sister of Marion (late George) Deacon of Dresden, Marjorie (late Carl) Eltervoog of Florida. Sister-in-law of Dolly Simmons and Betty McBrayne (Jim). Predeceased by sisters Mae Newell, Catherine Morley, Jean Ross, Ruth Pegg; brothers Sydney Simmons, James Simmons and parents Sidney and Janet (Porter) Simmons. She was a devout believer in her God and lived her life as a gentle soul guiding her family with her sage advice. She will be greatly missed. A private family funeral will be held at her request. Interment in Dresden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, Chatham-Kent Women's Centre or charity of your choice.
