Obituary of Georgette Paula Vanpraet

Vanpraet: Georgette a resident of Thamesville, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at the age of 87.  Born in Belgium, daughter of the Late Jules and Alida Coeman. Beloved wife of Pierre Vanpraet. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Nancy Schram (John), Richard Vanpraet (Kristin), Late Rose Duquette (Dave) and the Late Debbie Vanpraet. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Brittany (Chris), Tanya (Kenny), Tristan (Lee Anne), Amanda (Jeff), and great-grandson Hayden. Dear sister-in-law of Martin Kowanetz. Predeceased by her sister Odette DeWulf (Late Hillaire) and sister-in-law Mary Kowanetz. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. At Georgette’s request cremation has taken place. The Vanpraet family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 12:30PM.
