My mom. My best friend. My scrabble buddy and sometimes even my counsellor on those hard days.
I’ve missed you from the moment we had to say goodbye, and I’m afraid that I will never be the same again. I miss our talks, our laughs, and our scrabble games-where you kick my butt almost every single time.
You taught me great life lessons, in the most unusual ways. I will be forever grateful for the things you’ve given me, and the things you’ve shown me. I wasn’t ready for you to leave this earth, I feel like there is so much more you could have taught me and there was so much more I wanted you around to see. I don’t know how to navigate this world without you.
Sadness fills my heart, and tears fill my eyes. You were the best mom, and every ounce of me will miss you until we meet again.

Deb was such a huge part of my life. My memories are full of moments shared with her; from early birthdays and Christmases, to listening to her "grown up" music on 45s when I was 9 or 10, to her holding my first born and wishing so much for her own children, to visiting with her for tea and a chat, to a stormy cruise with her and Jenn.
Deb was a beatiful, cheerful, strong woman. There were always smiles and laughter, despite the hard times she experienced.
Family meant everything to her, and she found such joy in her girls. She was so proud of you both, Jenn and Ange, and loved you fiercely.
Tracy, I know that with you she the found peace and love she deserved after a life of hardship.
Though we hadn't been in touch for a while, she was a good friend as well as my cousin.
Rest in peace, Debbie. Til we meet again. ❤️❤️❤️

Deb was so much a part of my life. From our solo camping trips to our weekly stop at Woolworths to catch up. We shared so much and had so much fun. I’m missing her. Susie

Debbie was my first friend, my first confidant and a cousin who in my early years felt more like a big sister. She had so much to give us all and did so with a generosity of spirit, love and affection that is hard to come by. While we had not been so much in touch in these later years, I feel the lessons that she left me with very deeply, and often rely on them still: she helped guide me towards being a strong and resilient woman. And she also mentored me in how to pull a great prank. She had an amazing sense of humor and fun that was based on kindness and humility. One of a kind, and gone far too soon. Tracy, Jenn and Angie, our hearts are heavy for you and we know your loss must seem unimaginable. Our very deepest condolences go out to all of you. ❤️❤️❤️ Nancy and Peter

Deb, I have such fond memories of our time working together in Stratford. We had many great conversations together and lots of laughs. I'll always remember you for your kindness, warmth, sense of humour, your great laugh, and a smile that lit up the room! May you rest in peace, Deb

Debbie was a spitfire. Quick to laugh and quick to call you out. I guess she got that from her mom Norma. I find it ironic that she passed battling cancer. This was an illness she had more than her share of personal experience with noting her mother and her first husband Stan were taken from us by this disease.
Deb was a generation ahead of me and growing up she was one of the "cousins" who certainly enriched the lives of my older siblings. As adults we would speak socially and there was always a laugh to end the conversation. For me she embodied family connections.
My very deepest and heartfelt condolences to her family and her partner Tracey. I know directly from Debbie how much love was in those relationships.

Deb, your laugh and kind presence will be missed. I enjoyed camping with you and your children when I was a little girl. We always had a blast at Lake Huron and area. To Ange and Jenn - your mother’s love for you is eternal ❤️
