Obituary of Gordon Gregg Fysh
We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of (Gordon) Gregg Fysh "Gump", a resident of Thamesville, on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital at the age of 68. Born in Chatham, son of the late Frederick and Rose (Subsky) Fysh. Beloved husband of 26 Years (Sept. 9th) to Theresa (Vander Schaaf) Fysh. Gregg leaves behind a son Nathan Dauphin (Gina Pateno); granddaughter Allison Nauta and his furbabies Kacie, Mama, George, Daisy and Lilly. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Kim Fysh (Merry), Christine Fysh, Anne Mugridge (Dan) and Lou Dejonge (Clare). Sadly missed by nieces and nephews Stacy Tinline (Cullen), Christopher Fysh (Simon Tuit), Shaun Fysh (Mariko), Chad Carey (Nikki), Adam Mugridge (Hope), Alicia Mugridge, Ryan Dejonge, Jeremey Dejonge (Shaelyn), Lindsay Dejonge and their families. Remembered by his aunt Nancy DeBeer. and cherished Godfather of Matt Minshall. Gump was a member of the Thamesville Revolver Club and IOOF Lodge #157. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 367 , Thamesville on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 1:00 PM - 4 PM. Private Interment in Everitt Cemetery, Thamesville at a later date. If desired, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
