Obituary of Betty Louise McDonald

McDonald: Betty Louise (VanKoughnett), formerly of Dresden, passed away peacefully at Fairfield Park, Wallaceburg on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the age of 75. Born in Kingston, ON. daughter of the late  John and Dorothy (Westcott) VanKoughnett. Beloved wife of the Late Robert Neil “Bob” McDonald. Loving mother of Yvonne Chalcraft (Bruce), Hugh McGee (Jody), Bob McGee (Joanne), Ann Renon (Maurice), Marion Dunlop (Jeff), Late Robert McDonald and Late Raymond “Fudge”McDonald. Sadly missed by her  12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Rita Doom, Teresa Yacks, Herbert, George and William VanKoughnett. Predeceased by siblings Caroline Kay,  Rose McFadden and Robert VanKoughnett. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. At Betty’s request cremation will take place.  Interment Mayhew. Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. A Celebration of Betty’s Life will be held on Sunday, July 7 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at the Old Czech Hall, 116 St John St E, in Dresden.
