Obituary of Alva Corean Simmons

Simmons: Alva Corean (Chandler) a resident of Dresden, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 27, 2024 at the age of 87. Born in Chatham Twp., daughter of the Late Elmer and Genevieve (Davis) Chandler. Beloved wife of  an amazing 68 years to the Late Irwin Simmons (2023). Loving mom of Debbie Baldwin (Bart Bartlett), Michael (Brenda Simmons),Tracey Simmons and Robert Simmons. Sadly missed by grandchildren Robert Reaume, Elisha Davis, Josh Simmons and great grandchildren Hayden, Troy, Clinton, and Kiffany. Dear sister of Loretta, Irene, Billie, Joyce, Madelene, Virgil and Clifford. Predeceased by siblings Lawrence and Ruby. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Alva's Life will be held at the Badder Funeral Home and Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Interment of cremains in Dresden Cemetery. If desired donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
