Obituary of Douglas Allen Ross

Ross: Douglas Allen, a resident of Petrolia, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at St. Joseph's Hospice, Sarnia on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the age of 83. Born in Chatham, son of the late George and Bernice (Bobier) Ross. Beloved husband of the late Victoria Jane (McLean) Ross (1976). Loving dad of Eva Field (Joel), Jennifer Szucs (Phil) and Tara Lachapelle (Mike). Proud grandpa of Tyler Field (Allicia), Hannah Field (Eric Diemert), Adrienne Ross (Tom Pocock), Aaron Szucs (Danielle Brausen) and Tessa Lachapelle. Dear brother of Gary Ross (Doris) and the Late Elaine Japp (Bryce). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and good friends. The Ross family will receive family and friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 10:30 AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:30 AM. Cremation has taken place. Interment in Dresden Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations may be made by cheque to St. Joseph's Hospice, Sarnia or Christmas for Everyone Petrolia.
