Obituary of Bill Lozon
Lozon: William "Bill" a resident of Dresden, passed away peacefully at Copper Terrace, Chatham with his family by his side on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at the age of 84. Born in Chatham Twp. son of the late Clarence and Bertha (Gray)Lozon. Bill worked for more than 40 years at the Libby Glass Factory in Wallaceburg; but he was first and foremost a proud farmer. He loved the land and the hard work that came with growing good crops. He was proud of his farm onthe 3rd Concession of Camden Gore Twp. where he moved his family 50 years ago last May. Family and friends, especially the grandchildren, recall many fun family celebrations at ‘the farm.’ Bill was devoted to his family and was a kind and caring friend, whose memory will be cherished. Beloved husband of 66 years to Bonnie (Moore) Lozon. Loving father of Tim (Carol), Todd (Janet), and Tracey Johnston (Mike). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Nicole Roeszler (Colin), Lindsay, Wesley, Jackie, Paige Caron (James), Jade (Tyler) and great-grandchildren Carter and Calie. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Elaine Kilbride (late Bill), Pat Turner (late Joe), Jeannette Poissant, Linda Aarssen (Mike), Jeff Lozon (Jennifer), Kay Lozon, and Roxy Moore (late Bill). Predeceased by a brother Ron Lozon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The Lozon family will receive family and friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Interment Dresden Cemetery.
