Obituary of Milan Martin Stacho
Stacho: Milan "Barney" a resident of Bothwell, passed away peacefully at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the age of 83. Born in Zone Twp., son of the late Martin and Eva Stacho. Beloved husband of Joanne (Meadows) Stacho. Loving father of Laurie (Sam), Roxanne (Kimble), Pam (Kevin), Wendy (Gord) and Martin Stacho. Sadly missed by grandchildren of Jessica, Calvin, Jamie, Christl, Somer, Kristie-Lee, Mikeala, Carter and great-grandchildren Grayson, Daschal, Jackson, Charlotte, and Maddi. Dear brother-in-law of May Stacho. Predeceased by his sister of Ann Delauriers (Gord) and brothers Paul and Rudy Stacho. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Barney was an avid fisherman, dart player and hunter. He knew all the best spots to pick morels, asparagus and mushrooms. He was a long time member of branch 252 legion and bartender there for many years. He was happy go lucky and often proved it at the casino. He was an animal lover and avid bird feeder. He loved country music, has a huge record collection and loved his Chinese food. At Barney's request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Barney's Life will be held at the Bothwell Legion 162 George St, Bothwell on November 4, 2023 from 1-4 p.m. If desired, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion (c/o 162 George St, Bothwell, ON N0P 1C0) or the Four Counties Health Service Foundation would be appreciated.
