Obituary of Andy Beintema
Beintema: Andy, a resident of Thamesville, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice with his family by his side on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at the age of 71. Born in Chatham, son of the late Renze and Itske (Kloosterman) Beintema. Andy was the proud co-owner of Northside Auto Service for over 35 years. Predeceased by his first wife Ina (Foekens) Beintema (2020). Beloved husband of Yvonne (Slobbe) Beintema. Loving father of Jason (Candy), Brandon (Caye Matthews), Doug (Karen), Richard (Michelle), Mark (Jenny). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Devon, Tori-Beth (fiance Micheal), Hannah, Ryan, Abigail, Alexis, Cody, Olivia, Hailey, Madeline, Dierk, Annabelle and great-grandchildren Isaac and Ireland. Lovingly remembered by Jayce, Riley, Shaylin Matthews and Chrisitne Noelle. Dear brother of John (Corrie), Herman (Eleanor), Theresa Terpstra (Don), Sylvia "Sam" (Bill Nadon)and Tilda Brouwer (Eric). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The Beintema family will receive family and friends at the Eben-Ezer Canadian Reformed Church, 483 McNaughton Ave E, Chatham, ON N7L 2H2 on Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The funeral will be held from the church on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Eben-Ezer Christian School (c/o 485 McNaughton Ave E, Chatham, ON N7L 2H2) or the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation (c/o 34 Wellington Street East, Chatham, Ontario N7M 3N7) would be appreciated.
