Obituary of Gladys Jean Mozina

Gladys "Pat" Mozina, a life-long resident of Wardsville, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023 at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury at the age of 80. The daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Wilson) Bowles. Beloved wife of 62 years to the late Paul Sr. (2021). Loved mother of Maria Sojak (the late Rick) and Paul Jr. (Lori). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Jesse (Carly), Sandie (Junior), Ryan (Michelle) and great grandchildren Vincent, Garret, Gavin, Logan and Graydon. Dear sisters Doreen (John), Rosemary (Barney), and brother Willy. Predeceased by siblings Janet, Jim, Florence, Jack, Dave, Fred, Billie-Ann, Margie, and Harry.

In her early years, she worked in Tobacco planting, hoeing, harvesting, and grading for over 20 years. When Gladys was younger, she worked at Wilson's Greenhouses and later Gladys owned and operated Pat and Paul's Greenhouse in Wardsville for many years.  She also owned and operated Thifties Depot, a second hand store in West Bothwell. She cared for and loved many people and loved to chat with her neighbours.
