Obituary of Chris Hauspie
Christopher "Chris" Mark Hauspie passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at age 48 on the morning of April 19 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born October 7, 1974 to his loving parents Mark and Leslie Hauspie. He is survived by and will be greatly missed by his younger brother Kevin Hauspie (Gail).
He will be tremendously missed by his beloved wife of 22 years Andrea Hauspie and his three children Sabine Banerjee (Shourob), Tristan Hauspie, and Amberley Hauspie. Chris is also leaving behind his grandson Malyk Banerjee whom he cherished dearly.
Chris will also be missed greatly by his nieces Kayli Hauspie and Kacie Hauspie, as well as his great niece Lily. He will also be greatly missed by his nephew Kadin Hauspie. As well, Chris will be greatly missed by his in-laws Gord and Jane Dewar, along with his brother in-law Scott Dewar (Kelly) and his sister in-law Tara Smith (Jay). Additionally, he will be missed by his nieces Ashlyn and Raighlynn Dewar, and Kiara Smith, and his nephews Dylan Dewar, and Brayden and Hunter Smith. Chris also leaves behind his grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him deeply.
Although Chris passed away young he lived a happy life where family and friends were able to create many memories with him. He enjoyed spending his summers camping and cheering on his Detroit sport teams. Chris also loved his three dogs, Rocky, Bowser, and Loki, which he spent many nights playing fetch with.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Chris's Life will be held on Saturday April 29, 2023 at the Bothwell Legion,162 George St, Bothwell from 1:00 PM- 4:00 PM, with a few words of remembrance at 2:30 PM.
