David & Shannon, Sharon & Dennis: Condolences from my family to yours. We all smiled each year with Aunt Dorothy had another birthday ! And now, although she has left us here, she will still be having birthday celebrations where she is ! There are just so many beautiful memories for myself and my sisters growing up ... as you know, we spent a lot of time with her. She was, and will always be, the most kind & special Aunt that anyone could ever dream of having. Rest peacefully now Aunt Dossie ! Until we meet again ...

To The Pringle Family
Sorry for your loss. Your Mom live a wonderful but hard working life. Many a times I made a trip to Bothwell to get flowers from your Mom and if I remember correctly, I think she had a shop up town in Thamesville for a short while. A wonderful talent and I know everyone missed her when she finally retired. Her sister Pat was also a friend of mine. Treasure all your fun memories.

David Pringle Posted Feb 10, 2023 at 9:40 PM
Thank you, Pat. You have all of that correct. Mom did work hard, mom and dad opened the shop in Thamesville for a while, and were up town in Bothwell. I remember those years well. Yes, Aunt Pat was a joy as well. We were so very blessed that mom had a large family as we spent many joyous times with mom's sisters, brothers, and our cousins. The best to you, Pat. Thank you for your kind words. David and Sharon

Dave, Shannon, and Family,
For many years I bought a single flower for Joyce every week at Glen and Dorothy's flower shop. When I was away in speaking engagements, I would make out cards ahead of time and Glen would deliver them every week until I came home. It was always a pleasure to chat with your Mom.
Later we moved to the Villa apartments in Newbury and your Mom was our next door neighbour. We enjoyed so many chats on her patio or walking in the hallway.
Happy memories.
We have moved to Midland, ON and will not be able to be at the service. But we are thinking of you. We send our condolences.

Wishing you every blessing in the days ahead, and trusting that you are enjoying your new home in Midland. Thanks for all you meant to mom. Kind regards, David and Sharon

David and Sharon and family,
We would like to express our deepest condolences. Dorothy was a Bothwell icon. As with so many she provided wedding, funeral and special occasion flowers for all the Saylor family. However it wasn’t a business relationship for your Mom because she always put so much love and care into every arrangement. I especially remember her big chrysanthemums with the bumblebees or butterflies on them and of coarse her “Gates Ajar” . My Mom always trusted Dorothy to provide the best and she never disappointed. We always had the best Tunks family conversations. Heaven is receiving another angel.

Dear Larry and Marlain, thank you for your kind words and reflections of mom. I completely agree, mom was a Bothwell icon and carried on the Tunks gifts and traditions well. I am so grateful that you and others remind me and my sister of the wonderful contributions and impact that she made to so many. Thank you again, Larry and Marlain. Kind regards and the very best to you in the coming days, David and Sharon

Dear Clare and Cheryl, thank you for your kind words and reflections of times with mom. I know your visits with her were rich as she loved to reminisce about fun from the past. We were so very blessed to be with here during her last moments. She spoke to us, was alert and aware, and at the end, went so very quickly. While saying goodbye is never easy no matter how old one is, mom expressed many times that she was ready and that it was time. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers, David and Sharon
