Bill was a lifelong farmer, an active member of his community and church. He was a proud father, papa, brother, uncle, son and friend to many. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone that needed it. You would often find him crop touring the county in his brown GM truck, beer in hand and offering advice to neighbouring farmers. Bill loved his family and was the foundation that his family was built around. He had many hobbies but his favourite was tractor pulling. He started with a 4440 but upgraded to his OOOH Deere 4320, pulling all over Ontario and the Mid Western United States. Bill was a social person and had friends everywhere he went. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at Royal Canadian Legion Br. 252, Bothwell on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 1-5 p.m. The family would like to extend their thanks to the ALS Society of Windsor/Essex, the ALS Clinic in London, Care-partners, Dr. Johnson and all of their family and friends for the outpouring of love and assistance these last 2 years.
