Obituary of Charles Byron Walker
Walker: Charles "Chuck" a resident of Thamesville, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at the age of 90. Born in Florence, ON., son of the late Byron and Ivy (Stevens) Walker. Chuck worked as a trucker, plumber, tin smith and in construction for most of his life. He enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing, camping, barbecues with family and friends. Beloved husband of 69 years to Norine (Cowan) Walker. Loving father of Rick Walker (Liz), Barry Walker, Penny DeYoung (John) and the late Brian Walker (Chris). Loving grandpa to Darrick (Meghan), Annette (Simon), Stephanie (Jeff), Lauren (Chad), Dan (Megan), Lindsay (Kyra), Taylor, Bailey, Justina (Khalid) and great-grandpa of Paisley, Annaliese, Oliver, Cole, Sadie, Reise, Bennett, Shea, Sydney, Nash, and Ella. Dear brother and brother-in-law of George Walker (Pat) and Donna Walker. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Don Walker, and sisters Jean and Fred Leeson, Marie and Bruce Brown. Family and Friends will be received for visitation at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St.,Thamesville on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. In lieu of flowers donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Br.#367, Thamesville or Four Counties Health Services Foundation, Newbury would be appreciated.
