John Francis Cibulka, a resident of Dresden, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Copper Terrace Long Term Care Facility at the age of 96. Born in Chatham, the  son of the late John and Anna (Kominek) Cibulka. John was a life-long farmer and grew tomatoes for Canadian Canners in Dresden for over 50 years. John and Mary loved to travel to many sunny destinations and spent time socializing at local coffee shops. John liked entertaining relatives from the Czech Republic. Family gatherings were top priority. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Tomecek) Cibulka (1999). Loving father of Mildred Faubert (Frank), Edward Cibulka (Annette), Lawrence Cibulka (Jenny) and Robert Cibulka (Judy). Cherished grandpa of Christopher Faubert (Jennifer), Stephanie Bourdeau (Michael), Angela McManus (Shannon), Lisa Debenham (Scott), Laurie Kenny (Ryan), Brianne Cibulka (Matt Vollick), Bryan Cibulka, Marc Cibulka, Matthew Cibulka, Andrew Cibulka (Christina), Eric Cibulka (Tara) and Nicole Sulman (John). Proud great grandpa of Madeline, Cassandra, Abby, Cameron, Julia, Rachael, Victoria, Olivia, Georgia, Claire, Clarke, Oscar, Riley, Rory, Adriana, Isabo and Isabella. Dear brother of Charlie Cibulka (Barbara), the late Mary Trinacty (the late Tony). Loved brother-in-law of Lillian Uhlik (the late Jerry) and the late Charles Tomecek (Mary Lou). Remembered by many nieces and nephews. A private visitation will be held at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St, Dresden followed by a private  funeral mass at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Dresden. Interment in Dresden Cemetery. We would like to thank the Copper Terrace Nurse's, PSW's, and all other support staff, for their special care. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
