Obituary of Margaret Joyce

Joyce: Emily Margaret (Robertson) passed away peacefully at the University Hospital, London with family at her side on Monday, July 18, 2022 at the age of 91. Born in London ON., daughter of the late Jack Sr and Emily Robertson and predeceased by her brother Jack Jr, her husband Thomas Joyce and granddaughter Baby Samantha.

Survived by her children Emily Cosby, Kathleen McKee (Roger), Susan Clifford, Tom CoDyre (Carolyn), Mary Stewart (Calvin), Joan Chambers (Ron),  Mark CoDyre (Karen), Jeanne Riviere (Brian).

Also survived by her grandchildren Andrea, Catrina, Tennille, Tanya, Jessica, Justin, Jacqueline, Shawn, Kyle, Michael, Matthew, Sarah, Katie, Zachary and Nathan.  Margaret will be missed by her 10 great grandchildren and the fur babies she loved and always had a treat for.

Margaret was very hard working, holding down a full time job while raising 8 children.  She was an excellent cook who worked in several restaurants over the years and at Western University where she met her husband. When she retired she enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and traveling with various family members.  Margaret was an excellent bowler, always holding high score in the teams she played on.  She was a member of the Boys and Girls Club in London and enjoyed playing darts, crib and bingo with her new found friends.  Many commented on her great sense of humour.

A Private Family Funeral will be held at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St.,Bothwell with Interment to follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery, Bothwell.
