Predeceased by his parents Glenn and Audrey (Patterson) Kelly and brother Karl. Jimmy is survived by his sisters Veronica Sewell (Jim) and Lorraine Meredith (Ron). Loving uncle to Shannon Ashburn (Rick), Shawn Sewell (Cris), David Meredith, Beth Meredith Gilhuly and Colleen Antunes (Steve). Adored by great nieces and nephews Erin, Jill and Andrew Ashburn, Shaelyn and Alexx Sewell, Morgan and Julia Hughson, Miguel and Lucas Antunes. Loved great great uncle to Ty and Evie Griffiths.

Jimmy survived a traumatic brain injury in 2005 and years later escaped a house fire thanks to the heroics of his cat Stella. Jimmy will always be remembered as the biggest Detroit Red Wings and Tigers Fan around. He touched the lives of many and always had a smile and story to tell. He was a one of a kind neighbour and friend. He will be missed throughout the community. A private family service will be held at a later date following cremation.

Friends and family are asked to gather casually in their Detroit Red Wings or Tigers or favourite sports attire for a celebration of Jimmy's Life at the Bothwell Legion on Friday, June 17th, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

If desired, donations to the Bothwell Optimist Club or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
