Obituary of Terry Thompson

Thompson: Terry (Parkins), of Port Elgin, passed away peacefully with Ken and her children by her side at the Grey Bruce Health Services - Owen Sound on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at the age of 58.  Born in Chatham, daughter of Marjory Parkins (Burrell) and the Late John Parkins. Terry loved gardening and swimming in the lake with her two goldens Annie and CJ. She loved early morning walks to catch the sunrise. Beloved wife and best friend of Ken Thompson. Loving mother of Stacey (Andrew), Nick (Mel), Ellen (Nikos), Stephanie (Richard). Adored by her grandchildren, Jordan, Eleanor, Walter, Raina, Penny, June, Anna, Nellie, Sawyer, Charlie and Axel. Sadly missed by Mother-in-law Pat Lawson. Dear sister and sister-in-law of David (Chris), Tom (Wendie), David (late Hazel), Linda (Denis), Bonnie (Mac), Pam (Murray), Patty (Late Brian), Jim (Sandra). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by father-in-law Donald Thompson and step-father-in-law Bill Lawson. At Terry's request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Terry's Life will be held at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on  Saturday, May 14, 2022 with visitation from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM.Family and  Friends are invited to join the Family at the Bothwell Legion following the service to celebrate Terry's Life. If desired donations to the  Owensound Hospital Foundation -Oncology Dept (c/o1800 8th St E, Owen Sound, ON N4K 6M9) would be appreciated.
