Obituary of Diane Logan
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Diane Logan (Powers), with her family by her side, following a brief illness at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the age of 66. Diane was a devoted and loving wife to her husband Gary for 46 years on June 5. Diane was predeceased by her parents Allan and Doreen (Brown) Powers, stepmother Mary Powers (Polowick) and her sister Donna Rabideau. Survived by her sister Sandra Holmes (Mike) and her step-siblings. She will be missed by her children Karen, Aaron (Tanya) and Darren (Jess), and her grandchildren, Hannah, David, Daniel, Lily, Leah, Viden, and Waylon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mom was a selfless, hard-working person who always thought of others before herself. She adored her years nursing at the Sydenham Campus of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and enjoyed her friends and fellowship with the Wabash Women’s Institute and the Wabash United Church. She was a good and faithful servant who lived and loved as Christ commanded: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.” John 13:34 ESV . We would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the nursing staff of Medicine B in Chatham. You cared for mom with the upmost dignity and compassion and it does not go unnoticed. The Logan family will receive family and friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Friday, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
