Obituary of Ronnie Law

Ronald (Ronnie) Law, a lifetime resident of Dresden, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg at the age of 84. Born in Kent County, the  son of the late Rufus and Myrtle (Neely) Law. Beloved husband of Helen (Wills) Law. Loving dad of Brad (Elizabeth) of Sarnia and Jeff (Barb) of Dresden. Proud grandpa of Trisha, Luke, Maddie (Tyler), Katelyn and Carter. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Norma Latimer (the late Hugh) and Jean Law (the late Allan). Predeceased by brothers and sisters Harold (Peggy), Allan, Alma, Beulah (Willie), Murray (Bernice) and Marilyn (David). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by the Wills Family.

“Chief” to many, Ron dedicated 37 years to Dresden Fire Dept, 25 as fire chief.  Ron also dedicated 43 1/2 years to the Canadian Canners which operated under many names including Aylmer & Del Monte, Nabisco, Kraft, Cangro, now Conagra.

Family and friends will be received at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St, Dresden on Friday from 3:00-5:00 PM and 7:00 -9-00 PM. The funeral service will be held at Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 1:00 PM and live streamed at http://www.livememorialservices.com/Home/ServiceDetail/21127. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated that everyone attending must wear a mask. Interment in Dresden Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society. Online donations and condolences may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com
