Obituary of Kay Pumfrey
Kathleen "Kay" Irene Pumfrey, a resident of Bothwell, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Four Counties Health Services at the age of 96. Born in Brooke Township, the daughter of the late Stanley and Christina (Moore) Mills. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth "Ken" Pumfrey (1990). Loving mom of Esther Roemmele (Dennis), the late Paul Pumfrey (Karen), Jim Pumfrey (Judy) and Philip Pumfrey (Rosemary). Cherished grandma of Angela Mellis (Ron), Matthew Pumfrey (Danielle), Sera Pumfrey, Teri Pumfrey, Danielle Huston (Jason), Jason Pumfrey (Kelita), Jennifer Dowswell (Shawn) and Kenny Pumfrey. Special great grandma to Bria, Benson, Gabriel, Claire, Caleb, Callie and Casey. Dear sister of Ilene Mills and Dave & Ellen Mills. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Donelda Jean Mills (1953) and brothers Clifford Mills (Mary) and Howard Mills. The Pumfrey family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Monday from 1:00-4:00 PM and Tuesday from 12:30-1:30 PM. The funeral service will be held at Badder & Robinson Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated that everyone attending must wear a mask and social distance. Interment in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
