Our sincere condolences to the family of Verna at this sad time. We spoke with her frequently at Meadow Park as she sat at the same table as my mother. She was a lovely lady and always so pleasant.

Verna was such a kind, gentle , loving, patient woman to all she was in contact with. She always had a smile on her face and I loved her laugh. My favorite memories are the shopping trips we made to get craft supplies for her angel jewelry ( which she sold for her granddaughter's charity) and going for Chinese food as part of the trip !! My granddaughter, Kaitlyn, volunteered at Meadow Park while I was working there and she sends her sincere condolences too.. there is absolutely no one who met Verna who did not love her immediately. Cherish all the wonderful memories of times spent together. Sending hugs to all.. Joanne (Jones).. retired Activities Director

I loved seeing Verna everyday at work. I would make a special trip down her wing to say “hi” and see what mischief she was getting into. She always had a little twinkle in her eye and a smile on her face. She told me a lot of stories about my(our) family tree. I will miss our talks and her stories about the old days. Rest easy Verna.

I've had the pleasure of loving Verna for the past few years. She has left a huge mark on many hearts at Meadow Park. A few weeks ago a coworker who hadn't saw Verna for a while, excitedly said to me " I just saw Verna and seeing her makes me feel like Home" That statement is the most accurate I've heard. Verna loved so much, and cared so deep that you couldn't help but feel at home when you were with her. She always had time for everyone who wanted a chat, she loved her many MP friends, she stood up for what was right, and always had a smile and a twinkle in her eye that would immediately brighten anyone's day. She was so proud of her children, grand children and great grandchildren and spoke often of you all, her family was truly her greatest love in life. Verna will continue to shine on in our hearts and memories, we are so blessed to have had her in our lives.
