My deepest sympathies to the family. I met Dahkota when I was with the board of education in Windsor. She was one of my original supporters as I was figuring out how to best serve the Indigenous youth in Windsor. She would always came up to me to say hi and always had the best smile. When she introduced me to her son (a baby at the time) she had all the love in world when she looked at him. RIP Dahkota. xoxo
