Obituary of Donald Everitt Wright

Wright, Donald Everitt, a resident of Thamesville, passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens Long Term Care Home on Monday, March 29, 2021 at the age of 89. Born in Chatham, son of the late George and Elsie (Eskritt) Wright. Beloved husband of 67 years to Patricia (Beecroft) Wright. Loving father to Michael Wright (Patsy), Terry Wright (Alexander Malt), Charlene Darel (David), John Wright (Mary Lou), Diane Williams (Charles), Marilyn Belcoure (David). Forever missed by his 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and predeceased by granddaughter Chelsea Belcoure. Don is survived by his sister Gladys Fitzpatrick, and brother in law Neil Beecroft. Predeceased by his brothers, Jim Wright, Gordon Wright, sister, Margaret LaPrise, and brother-in-law Lee Beecroft. Don retired with a gold watch from W.G. Thompson's, Kent Bridge after 35 years of service. He was proud so proud of his family and cherished his time with them. Don enjoyed gardening, playing cards, woodworking and creating many treasures for family and friends. Don was a member of the A.O.T.S, and Past President of the Thamesville Happy Club. A special thank you to all the support workers who cared for Don while he was home and to the care workers at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and Riverview Gardens. At Don's request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the John C. Badder Funeral Home, Thamesville.
