Obituary of Queenie Mary Wood

Wood: Queenie  (Phillips) a resident of Chatham, and formerly of Croton, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at the age of 87. Born in Camden Twp., daughter of the late Zebbie and Gertie (Smith) Phillips. Beloved wife of the late Orville R. Wood (1995). Loving mother of Shirley Parker (Jeff) of Chatham, Marion Laing of Bothwell, David and Cheryl Wood of Dresden, Dennis and Shirley Wood of Dresden. Sadly missed by grandchildren, Robert, Melissa (Mark), Michelle (Shane), Andy (Vanessa), Aaron, Adam, Brian,Stephanie, Darryl, and several great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Sam Phillips, Bud and Dorothy Phillips, Shirley Phillips. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.Predeceased by a sister Mabel Roberts,and brothers Don and Norm Phillips. A private family visitation and service will be held at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, Thamesville. Cremation with Interment in Mayhew-Mt.Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville at a later date.
