Obituary of Alvin Kenneth Gehl

Alvin Kenneth Gehl, It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Alvin Gehl on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance in his 82 nd year. He will be dearly missed by the love of his life of 56 years, Patricia (King) Predeceased by his father Alvin Gehl Sr., mother Charlotte Flemming, and brother Larry Gehl. Lovingly remembered by his brothers Harold (Cathy) and Ted (Marlene) and his children Dave (Kathy), Bob (Lisa) and Gary (Stacie). He will be profoundly missed by his grandchildren Ryan, Lauren, Dawson, Josh and Nolan, as well as his great grandchildren. The Gehl home had an open door policy, and many honorary children. His family was his pride and joy. He always brought wisdom, happiness, jokes and love to every life he touched. A special thank you to Dr. Munro, and nurses Heather and Holly who provided the most loving and compassionate care in his final moments, as well as his other care providers. Of all the blessings in our life, you were our greatest. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
