Obituary of Marjorie Olive Gillespie
Gillespie, Marjorie passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens Long Term Care Home on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the age of 82. Born in Chatham Township, daughter of the late Edwin and Luella Morrison. Beloved wife to Neil Gillespie. Dear mother to Cindy & Ken Cryderman, Craig & Susan Gillespie, Heather & Mark Graham, Jennifer Gillespie & Brad Robertson. Forever missed by her grandchildren, Brian Cryderman (Cassandra), Lisa Maure (Chris), Andrea Dickinson (Kirk), Meghan Van Damme (Kyle), Allyson Gillespie (Jordan), Colin Gillespie, Matthew Graham, Jessica Graham, Tyler Robertson, Erica Robertson, and by her 5 great-grandchildren, Mason, Hudson, and Lennox Maure, Aria Dickinson, and Ethan Van Damme. Dear sister to Don & Sue Morrison, David & Shari Morrison, Doug & Rosanna Morrison, and sister-in-law to Pat Gillespie, and Loree. Predeceased by brother Earl Morrison, brother-in-laws Peter Gillespie, and Gerald Gillespie.
At Marjorie's request, cremation has taken place. The Gillespie family will receive friends and relatives at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-8:00 p.m. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Mayhew Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, those hoping to attend the visitation must schedule a time by registering online at https://signup.com/go/LYLHekS. No one will be permitted at the visitation without a scheduled time. Please wait in your vehicle until your registered time slot.
